  • Stephen Fenby

    Group Managing Director

    Stephen Fenby

    After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young, Stephen joined Deloitte and worked for 16 years in the corporate finance team, latterly in the Cambridge office. Stephen joined Midwich as Finance Director in 2004 and became the Managing Director in 2010. He has led the Group’s acquisition and development programme.

    Stephen has a BSc in Accounting and Financial Analysis from the University of Warwick and is an associate of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

  • Stephen Lamb

    Group Finance Director

    Stephen Lamb

    Stephen joined Midwich as Group Finance Director in July 2018. he has over 25 years' experience in finance, working in high growth international business services organisations.

    Before joining Midwich, Stephen was the International CFO at Iron Mountain Inc, supporting the profitable and cash generative development of the International business. Stephen qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC and has held senior financial positions at IWG plc (CFO, Europe) and Experian plc (Group Director of FP&A, FD, Decision Analytics and CFO, Asia Pacific).

    Stephen has a BA in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nottingham and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. 

  • Thomas Sumner

    Chief Strategy Officer and CEO North America

    Thomas Sumner

    Thomas started his career at Midwich in 2008, joining the company’s product management team. He went on to support the integration of Sidev, the Group’s first overseas acquisition in 2010. His remit was subsequently broadened with responsibility for developing Midwich’s presence across Europe. He has been a leading force in our acquisition and company development programmes and has overseen the development of the organisation and management structures as the European region has expanded. In 2021, the company went on to develop a Middle Eastern presence through the acquisition of NMK and Edge, seeing the European team evolve into an EMEA organisation.

    Previously Managing Director of the EMEA region, Tom has moved into the role of Chief Strategy Officer and continues to support North America as CEO.

  • Mark Lowe

    Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director (UK and Ireland)

    Mark Lowe

    Mark joined Midwich in 2004 supporting the Business Management team in the computing division. Mark’s role then changed in tandem with the focus of the business as he assumed the role of Divisional Manager in the rapidly growing Consumer Electronics category. Working closely with the sales teams it was here that he learned about the world of audio visual.

    In 2012, together with his family, he relocated to Sydney and helped Midwich to develop a larger footprint in the ANZ marketplace before returning to the UK. In the years that followed, he trained as Project Manager and managed a number of major projects including various pre and post acquisition activities and strategies.

    In 2017 Mark took on the role of Chief Operating Officer, and in 2018 became Managing Director of Midwich Ltd. His focus is to progressively develop the initiatives, strategies and the staff to ensure that Midwich continue to add more value for their customers and vendor partners. More recently promoted to Chief Commercial Officer supporting operations across the Group.

  • Mathieu Payet

    Managing Director - EMEA

    Mathieu Payet

    Mathieu graduated with an MSc in management from EMLYON Business School. After a successful career with the Kesa Group and then with Hitachi DMG (video projection and professional LFD) where he managed the B2B channel in France and Africa, in 2011 Mathieu joined Sidev.

    Appointed General Manager of Sidev in January 2015 and becoming its managing director a year later. Since 2020 he has been overseeing France, Spain, Portugal and Italy as a Regional Director and more recently been appointed Managing Director for the EMEA region.

  • Joe Thompson

    Corporate Strategy Director

    Joe Thompson

    Joe joined Midwich in 2017 as the founding member of the M&A function, having previously qualified as a Chartered Accountant at PwC where he specialised in Transaction Services. In addition to an ongoing active role in the Group’s global development, in 2020, he took on additional responsibilities as Finance Director for the fast growth EMEA region.

    In his current role of Corporate Strategy Director, Joe is responsible for M&A, corporate development and Group marketing, working with the team across the world to deliver profitable growth.

  • Stuart Mizon

    Group Commercial Director

    Stuart Mizon

    Stuart joined Midwich in 2002 contributing to various commercial and sales roles that helped establish the company as a UK market leader. Formerly leading the UK & Ireland commercial function, he was promoted to the position of Group Commercial Director in 2019.

    In this role, he leads the Group's relationships with key supplier partners, driving expansion opportunities across the organisation developing both existing and new opportunities. In addition, he oversees engagement with globally aligned customers and provides overarching support to all Group businesses.

  • Phil Bligh

    Chief Finance Officer (UK and Ireland)

    Phil Bligh

    With a rich background spanning over two decades in finance, Phil has been part of Midwich Group's journey since 2010. Qualified as a Certified Chartered Accountant, he has been part of much of the Group’s expansion, taking on roles such as Group Finance Manager in 2013 and contributing to the IPO team in 2016.

    In 2017, he stepped into the Finance Director role for Midwich Ltd and later, in 2019, assumed responsibilities for the UK&I Region during turbulent times. Now, as the Chief Finance Officer for UK&I since 2023, Phil focuses on aligning teams with the broader commercial goals, reflecting his resilience and commitment to the company's success.
